Mysteries of Deeper things
The one with no face asks,
If deeper things are beyond understanding,
Then how can we possibly understand them?
MysticSaint says,
Deeper things are not *really* deep.
It is the conditions of mind that makes it deep.
From where you measure the depth?
Don’t stand on still ground but fly.
Be dynamic,
And Lo!
The depth vanishes.
When mind is ready,
We can penetrate infinite depth in a moment.
Even between the in-breath and the out-breath.
Then where is the depth?

"Before, I saw mountains as mountains and rivers as rivers. Through understanding, mountains became more than mountains and rivers more than rivers. After enlightenment, mountains once more became just mountains and rivers, simply rivers."
wow! Thanks Sadiq!
cool comment isaiah.
Sadiq,
I hope you will not mind that I have posted your poem at my site, crediting both you and Mark.
Thank you for your wisdom.
Beloved Isaiah,
You are more than welcome to put any work from this blog if u don't mind a credit link.
i will be deeply honored.
I turn to your serene beauty, your divine grace;
Your art, your work, humbles even the blind;
‘Tis the heart that sees, not the soul;
The journey on the beaten road is but a distant goal;
Gather thy chattel; gather thy victuals;
The mind is a lonely companion on this travel.
You give me the intellect for a companion and knowledge as a trusting friend;
But without your hand, who will help me through this land?
Intentions the solstice of my daily dawn;
Prayer on your floor, head bowed to implore;
Seek do I your face;
Find me as I come towards thee;
In your creation I search for yea;

‘Ya’ Allah, Al Nur, Al Rahman
Maliki Yumadin – From you we come and to you we return;
Clay, mud, dust and bones renew anew and become you!
