Abruptly

Abruptly we come to this world,
abruptly again we depart.

You didn't decide your coming here,
your soul was made ready to come
long before you had any consciousness,
sense or a face.

Your departure is already scheduled,
cause the Soul of the Universe knows
you future and past.
Know that:
The Soul of the Universe is beyond time.

So ask yourself if its ready for the abrupt call?
Ask if its ready to return back home?

Are you preparing for a light travel or already burdened yourself with all the junks along the way?

O my friend! shed, shed all that is unnecessary.

Throw away all, cause they don't belong to you.
Even your soul don't belong to you,
but to the Supreme Soul of the Cosmos.
It was a gift given to you to keep.
How sad, we all forgot that?

So, lets bring back that consciouness,
and prepare for the inevitable abrupt journey back home.

Sadiq,

This is beautiful- I am so blessed to know you.

Your poem mirrors a poem I wrote some time back....

"Long before you were born
you chose to be here in this moment, right now.

Long before you were born
you chose the pathway you would follow.

Long before you were born
you chose this lifetime's lesson.

It may be you are just now remembering standing before the One
and asking to learn.

It may be you will never remember
standing before the One, and in that case you will still learn.

What comes my way will be.
Grace is in knowing this
and this alone."

Peace to you and blessing to you-

Br. Sadiq,
Assalaam alaikum,

Very Humbling yet Sublimely Divine...

But the Unbelievers,- their deeds are like a mirage in sandy deserts, which the man parched with thirst mistakes for water; until when he comes up to it, he finds it to be nothing: But he finds Allah (ever) with him, and Allah will pay him his account: and Allah is swift in taking account. (Surat an-Noor, 39)

May Allah bless you always!

Br. Sadiq,
Assalaam alaikum,

Just wanted to share these lines:

"Allah(SWT) created this world the same as a shadow: when you chase in seeking it, it tires you out and you can never catch up with it. If you leave it alone, it follows you inexorably, and gives you no cause of fatigue".
Imam Jafar(A.S)

Peace and Blessings to you,
sf

Sadiq,

I don't believe its scheduled...
Its getting scheduled basing on your action....

Nothing is pre-defined.... your action is defining your destiny...
