The difference between Zionism and Judaism
"Judaism is a religion of spirituality, to serve God...Zionism is an apostasy, it is a rebellion against God, and a rebellion against the Torah, it is blasphemous..." - Rabbi Yisroel WeissMany of us often don't understand the difference between Zionism and Judaism. Here is an interesting interview of Orthodox Jewish Rabbi Yisroel Weiss. Watch and listen carefully what he has to say about Zionism and how this secular materialistic ideology has hijacked the spiritual Judaism. Also know that how Zionism is against the true teachings of Torah and direct violation of God's will as stated in Talmud.
Here is the interview at Fox News from youtube (approx. 4 minutes).
For detail of the explanation the following videos may be helpful to have a better picture.

it is this difference that often are cause for many ppl in this world to hate Jewish ppl in general because of the crimes committed by the Zionist. This is sad. The Zionist ppl r very limited, yet they r very strong interms of media influence and money power.

May the truth prevail and may the earth has peace and blessings for all of mankind. Amen.

Sadiq,
It takes much courage to say these things, but it is true that there is a huge difference b/w Judaism and Zionism. Zionism is a political movement. To oppose Zionism is not to oppose Judaism. I pray that God blesses us all...Jews, Muslims, Christians, Hindus, all people of all religions, and all people of no religion. God transcends all of our feeble attempts to worship him. I think the purest act of devotion is to love.
Blessings to you...
Your article regarding the interview of the good rabbi was surely an eye-opener. For many years now I had no clue as to the difference between zionism and judaism and as to why there is so much prejudice when these topics are discussed.
Most mainstream Jews regard Neturei Karta as deeply problematic. Their views are not mainstream by any means.

Rather than worry about the differences between zionism and judaism, why don't Muslims think about the lack of differences between Islam and Islamism?
Perhaps Muslims should think about the hate and violence in the Quran, or consider the many vile actions in the life of their dear prophet. Maybe these explain not only the many troubles of Muslim societies, but also current events including the use of terror by Islam.
So, will Muslims renounce Islamism? Will they renounce the hate and violence against non-Muslims in the Quran? Will they condemn the acts of murder, torture, slavery, raids, rape and even wife beating by Mohammed recorded in the hadiths?
Will they? Can they? Yes, May the truth prevail, but Muslims are afraid of the truth.
John Kactuz
PS: Sadiq - Do you need references? Do you not know these things? They aren't exactly a secret. The issue is not if these things are recorded in Islam's traditions, which they are, but if Muslims can face the facts and are willing to understand what these things mean. That is the question.
Dear John Kactuz,
thanks for ur comment.
unfortunately the picture you get from your media is very much biased. its the one side of the coin.
the majorit of the muslims don't ever support terrorism. they always renounce violence and terrorism in any form. its in human nature to renounce violence.
its the less than 1% ppl who catch all the attention of your media, but u never hear the moderate voices. because those condemns r not worthy of news item.
its the general muslims who suffer the consquences when they r harrassed in the airport just because they hv a muslim names. everyday its a reality they face. nobody wants that humiliation be it a muslim today or a jew in the second world war.
there are no hate or violence in Quran. its the injustice that r condemned. pls go thru the quran and don't be blind by the media. u know the media business, don't u?
pls always see the other side of the coin, because it always exists no matter what.
Thanks for the invite to the discussion, Sadiq.
This is actually a subject I've wrestled with a good deal. I notice that the Zionists claim that the opposition of Zionism is an opposition of Judaism, in a similar fashion that Evangelicals claim that opposition to pentecostalism is an opposition to Christianity. Both groups seem to have a unified political agenda as well, unlike mainstream Judaism or mainstream Christianity which represent a wide spectrum of political views. This comparison is also easily shown to fit Islam: radical Islamic sects claim to represent the real Islam, but underneath they are hiding a political and secular agenda in religious terms.
Isn't it encouraging however that even though the radical and political strains of world religions want to obliterate one another, the mystical strains of the same religions tend to get along in peace?
Shine on, brother!
thanks a lot sparkwidget.
you said it beautifully.
blessings and peace be upon you as well.
While it is true that Israel should not be a secular nation, it is also true that the Hand of God moved the Laws and created Israel for many reasons that few understand. More importantly, though, is my reply to Rabbi Weiss on the exile which can be found at http://brotherofyeshua.com/TheThreeLies.htm#zionism
