Love me | Sufi Haqqu

i wanted to say 'i love You',
but instead i chose
to say
'love me'

it's i who is the fakir
in need of Your love,
while You alone
is the Real Sultan.

note: fakir = poor, mendicant, who possesses nothing.
sultan = sovereign, king.

thank you for the wonderful post.

but isn't it true that HE loves us all as HE is the Creator?

I know i/we are nothing in this world but to survive and to serve we need strength.

knowing that i feel like i'm failing. maybe because i'm not saying 'love me' rather i'm saying 'take me'.

is it a wrong/sinful desire??
